Understanding the Union Township Debris Voucher Program

Union Township offers a fantastic program for residents to dispose of large items locally. The Debris Voucher Program allows residents to drop off bulk items.

How it Works

According to the Union Township official website, residents can request a voucher. You must provide proof of residency.

• Transportation: You must load, transport, and unload the items yourself.
• Restrictions: They generally do not accept hazardous materials, tires, or appliances with freon. Check the official page for the current restricted items list.

When the Voucher Isn't Enough

The voucher is great if you have a pickup truck and a strong back. If you need an entire basement cleared out, or simply cannot move a heavy appliance, you'll need to hire a junk removal company.
